Christmas 2017

Hope everyone is having a good Christmas! Here is a quick update of what I’ve been up to this Xmas:

Winter Wonderland

I always love coming to Winter Wonderland at Christmas time to soak up the festive atmosphere! There are Xmas markets lining the streets, games and roller coaster rides, as well as lots of food stalls. A must-visit if you’re in London for Xmas! We went here last year aswell, click here to read.

Ice skating: National History Museum

Another thing ticked off my list – to go ice skating outside the National History Museum! I’ve only ever been ice skating indoors before but not outside, and this location was a perfect place to go ice skating during the Xmas season! It looks so magical with all the lights surrounding the ice rink and the view of the museum looks so grand and majestic. We had to book online to go ice skating coz as you can imagine, it gets very busy.

Aubaine Restaurant: French dining

To celebrate Xmas, we decided to go for a French restaurant in London Heddon Street, called ‘Aubaine’. It was a short walk from Picadilly Circus train station, and it was a small but cosy restaurant. For starters, we ordered a Caesar salad and calamari. For mains we ordered the lobster spaghetti and Wagyu burger with fries. The food was quite good, I really enjoyed the lobster spaghetti and the Wagyu burger was so tasty! The Caesar salad was a bit of a let down as it tasted too plain, even after they changed it to a new one for us :/

We had a great time celebrating Xmas in London 🙂 Thanks for reading my post, and Merry Christmas!
